Do you support vanilla 1.0 and Experimental?

Both branches are pre-installed. Be cautious migrating Experimental saves back to stable; the game warns you about this for good reason.

Do you support mods via SMM?

Yes. Full Satisfactory Mod Manager (SMM) support with automatic server-side mod loading and version matching for your players via the Ficsit.app / SMR repository. Upload your mod list in the panel, we pull compatible versions on server start, and players connect without manual mod wrangling.

How many players can join?

The vanilla dedicated server officially supports 4 players. Community mods like PlayerLimitIncreaser push this higher (8, 16, or more) at the cost of CPU overhead. We recommend staying at 4-8 for smooth play on Phase 5 factories; 12+ needs dedicated hardware and mods that handle the increased simulation load.

Can I upload my existing save?

Yes. Upload your .sav file to FactoryGame/Saved/SaveGames/server via SFTP or the web file manager, select it from the panel, and restart. Works for vanilla Early Access saves, 1.0 saves, and modded saves as long as you have the matching mods loaded server-side.

Does cross-play (Steam / Epic) work?

Yes. Satisfactory's dedicated server is platform-agnostic โ€” Steam and Epic players share the same server with no special setup. Both platforms use the same server IP and password. Epic Online Services (EOS) and Steam networking both handle the connection transparently.

How much RAM do I need?

Vanilla Phase 1-3 with 2-4 players: 4-8 GB is plenty. Phase 5 vanilla with a fully-built factory: 12-16 GB. Modded playthroughs (especially with PakUtilityMod, SMART, Area Actions): 16-24 GB. Heavily modded (35+ mods) or public servers: 24+ GB. Satisfactory's memory usage grows significantly over a long playthrough as entity counts rise.

Does the 1.0 Blueprint System work?
