SA:MP (the original) has been on unofficial hiatus since 2018 โ it still works but no new features or server versions ship. open.mp is the open-source community fork (initiated in 2022) that's actively developed, backwards-compatible with SA:MP gamemodes, and adds modern features: a better Pawn compiler, new server natives, FCNPC integration, and bug fixes. We support both โ start with open.mp if you're launching new, stay on SA:MP if your gamemode uses unusual plugins that haven't been ported yet.

CPU clock speed matters more than anything โ our 7950X boxes handle 300-slot RP comfortably.
Yes. SA:MP Mobile (the unofficial Android/iOS client) connects to any standard SA:MP or open.mp server. Mobile players show up in your scoreboard like any PC client. No special server configuration needed. Note: some community mobile clients modify anti-cheat hooks โ we recommend CAC (Conifer Anti-Cheat) or similar if that's a concern.
